Things are looking pretty shiny for all you Browncoats today. The image above is a teaser from Margaret Weis’s website that clearly references Firefly but doesn’t give a single detail. Since Margaret Weis Productions is known for role-playing games and originally released a Firefly game back in 2005, I’m betting on either a new version of the game, or at the very least new additions to the existing game.
When the original RPG was released it was very well-received by gamers and Browncoats alike, but licensing issues saw it end in 2009. In addition to the core rulebook, there were only three more titles, Serenity Adventures, Six Shooters and Spaceships, and Big Damn Heroes Handbook and fans have been clamoring for more ever since. With the news that Toy Vault has been licensed to make new plush and boardgames, could an RPG license be far behind?
Come on Margaret, spill the beans!
