Top Ten Indie Games of 2006

Game Tunnel has put together their annual top ten list of indie games. The winners are as follows:
- Gumboy Crazy Adventures
- Eets: Hunger. It’s Emotional
- Titan Attacks
- Master of Defense
- Virtual Villagers
- Dawnspire: Prelude
- The Oddesy: Winds of Athena
- Kudos
- Fizzball
- Kingdom Elemental
Indie games are poised to break out in a big way this year, especially given the release of Microsoft’s XNA project for XBox Live. At the very least, these games provide a fun (and usually free) diversion, so head on over to Game Tunnel, download the games and help support the indie movement. You may also want to check out the recently updated demo of “Ninja Loves Pirate,” which is one of the indie games I enjoyed this year.
