Take a good look at the XBox 360 commercial above – a really good look.
Someone who pays way too much attention to things has discovered that the license plates on the cars featured in this video read “GOW 1106″ (23 second marker) and “HA LO307.” (50 second marker). Gears of War on 11/06 and Halo 3 on 3/07 perhaps?
Well, Gears of War was released in during 11/06, so that part is undisputed. However, does HA LO307 mean Halo 3 in March of ‘07 or Halo 3 in the year ‘07?
Personally, I think that the latter answer is true. There is no way Halo 3 will be finished and on store shelves in four months. A holiday release in ‘07 is what I’m betting on.

with the miracle sof technology, one never knows… i would think that they would want the game out for xmas this year, if they can swing it.
I think it states “Halo 3″ 07 but that is just my opinion, I bet late 07 though.
Bungie has also officially announced a Halo 3 multiplayer beta for XBox Live in Spring 07. That probably wouldn’t give them a big enough window for release.
