XBox 360 HD-DVD For $200 In U.S.

Today Microsoft confirmed that the HD-DVD add on for the XBox 360 will be priced at $200 in the U.S. It will also come bundled with a HD copy of King Kong (for a limited time) and a universal media remote.
Keep in mind that just last week Microsoft announced that the XBox 360 will be supporting 1080p via a software update scheduled for later in the year.
If you do the math, purchasing a premium XBox 360 along with it’s HD-DVD add on will run you about as much as a complete premium Playstation 3. Personally though, I’m glad Microsoft gave gamers a choice.
