Dickies Armchair Weirdness

From what I can gather, the bizarre shapes you see above are actually seating units designed to provide maximum comfort in any position. At least that is what I deciphered from the following product page excerpt:

Standing or put to bed in loveuse, it always is also… comfortable! Slip-cover in laminated polypropylène with polyester and full nylon of foams and of marbles of polyester.Is proposed in three coloris: clear grey, dark grey and brown.
I’m not sure what type of english was being used there but I like the sound of “putting it to bed in loveuse.”
