$1,000,000 Watch: No Jewels Required

The 1735 is a nice looking watch. But even if I had $1,000,000 to blow, I doubt it would be on a watch.

Now why is it worth one million dollars? I am not entirely sure, but I will give you the highlights of this thing.

  • 740 components taking eight to ten months to assemble
  • perpetual calendar
  • split-second chronograph
  • minute repeater
  • tourbillon
  • moon phase minder

They don’t mention if it is waterproof. If you are foolish enough to spend one million dollars on a watch, you may just be tempted to wear it while you are frolicking in the surf. A millionaire would frolic, wouldn’t he? Some information is at the Blancpain website.
