With all the software out there, it is sometimes tough to know that there are often more features than you have any idea about. I saw this tip on how to get stock information directly into a Google Spreadsheet. If you are working with financial data, this could be very useful. I tried a quick test to track the worth of my myriad of stock holdings and it worked well.

Some of the data you can extract includes price, opening price, price to earnings, average volume, earnings per share and a number of other items. Check it out – if you need something like this it is definitely a useful function.
