It is a tough call to figure out who has sunk lower upon hearing that the Boy Scouts are going to offer a Copyright merit badge. The MPAA for their shameless propaganda, or the Boy Scout leaders for agreeing to it. You know that the MPAA curriculum that they have to go through is well balanced, don’t you?
I have not seen all the requirements needed to get the badge, but knowing the MPAA’s modus operandi in general, I would have to assume that one of the requirements will be to turn their computer over to the MPAA lawyers to check for any infringing materials.
