Epic 3D Printed ‘Bubble Bucket’ Blows 14k Bubbles Per Minute [Video]

There has never been a more important use of 3D printing than for this outrageous bubble machine, aptly named “Bubble Bucket.”

Designer Scratchhax explained his inspiration to 3D Print:

“The idea [for the Bubble Bucket] had two origins; the first one being that my kids and I just really enjoy having a bubble machine to play with when the weather is nice. The second reason was from my Wife [who is] working with special needs children and wanting to use the idea of a bubble machine, hooked to a switch that they could control regardless of physical ability as a re-enforcer.”

Using a modified chain drive for a motorcycle, he mounted the 3D printed wands vertically into a bucket with its bottom half submerged into bubble solution. So when the chain rotates, the wands are coated in the solution and then a fan is used to created an monsoon of shiny bubbles.

This is definitely the most fun bubble machine I’ve ever seen. Check out the video after the break.
