Circuit City – Nothing for Something

Hey, why not ask people to pay for something that they can get for free? It worked for bottled water. But Circuit City offering to install backward compatibility on your Xbox360 for $28.99 so that it can play Xbox games is just preying on the uninformed. Not only can you connect to Xbox Live to get this done, Microsoft can provide you the software for free.

Does Circuit City really feel they are performing a service? Looks like gaining bad publicity is about it. And I am being very tame with my criticism. Kotaku who broke the story is not anywhere near so polite. Guess they won’t be endorsing Circuit City anytime soon.
