The class action lawsuit “Comes et al. v. Microsoft” has unearthed some interesting internal documents – like emails from Bill Gates, Steve Ballmer and Jim Allchin.
Granted, many of the documents are boring or barely legible, but they do serve to educate people on the inner workings of Microsoft. However, every once in a while you will come across a real gem like the e-mail from Jim Allchin to Bill Gates and Steve Balmer entitled “losing our way. (PDF)” At one point, Allchin states that “I would buy a Mac today if I was not working at Microsoft.”
