Security firm eEye Digital Security warns users that a critical flaw exists in Apple’s iTunes software that would allow for remote code execution. It has been given a severity rating of “High.”
Apparently, the flaw affects various iTunes versions, but only on the Windows platform. It is described as “A remotely exploitable flaw that allows arbitrary code to be executed in the context of the logged in user.”
At this point, all you can do is wait for the patch – so keep your eyes open and do not hesitate to install it once it arrives.
