Steinbach of Germany, “renowned as the premier name in nutcrackers for over 125 years,” has come up with the holiday accessory for the festive Star Wars nerd.
The Star Wars Darth Vader Nutcracker is handcrafted from select European hardwoods and it stands at 18 1/2″ tall. I don’t know about you, but I find the idea of some “master craftsman” hidden away in some German factory churning out Vader nutcrackers on “select European hardwoods” highly amusing. Funny or not, painstaking craftsmanship such as this comes at a price – $349.95 to be exact.
And the best part is that the damn thing can’t even crack nuts. It is for decorative purposes only.
