Dell Laptop Explodes At Japanese Conference

Attendees at a recent conference in Japan were hit with an unexpected surprise when a Dell laptop exploded into flames.
One of those attendees, who abruptly sent in photos and information to the Inquirer, reported that “the damn thing was on fire and produced several explosions for more than five minutes.”
In all likelyhood a cheap, faulty battery is to blame for the incident. Over the years there have been a number of incidents similar to this one occuring on everything from laptops to cell phones.
Still, this isn’t good news for Dell - especially when you consider that they have been on the decline in recent months.
