As you may already know, Parallels is one of our favorite apps here at Nerd Approved. Today we are one step closer to the final version of the update with the release of Parallels Desktop Release Candidate 3 (Build 3170).
What’s new:
- You can now seamlessly upgrade a Windows XP virtual machine to Windows Vista
- New options have been added to drag-and-drop to make it more secure. When you drag-and-drop for the first time in RC3, you will be prompted to enable “local” or “global” file sharing.
- Updates to USB support, virtual CD/DVD drive, Coherence, Boot Camp support, and Transporter
RC3 is also OSX 10.5 “Leopard” Ready, which means that you can install Parallels on the upcoming version of Mac OSX.
