Skype 2.5 is now out of beta and ready for Mac users to enjoy. Here is a quick list of what’s new:
- Birthday reminder
- SMS can be sent straight from the history menu
- New video codec added for near-DVD quality video calls
- Hold conference calls with up to nine other people
- Slew of bug fixes
Keep in mind that unlimited calls to the US and Canada via SkypeOut will run you $29.95 a year.
