Unless you were one one of those kids who got a free ride from their parents, being a college student means eating Ramen (which I did – chicken flavor baby!) and working a crap part-time job (security guard at a museum).
SoftwareFor.org has put together another edition of its “Software For Starving Students” collection of freeware and open-source software that will help you increase your productivity without spending a dime. You could get all of this stuff yourself, but what college student has time for that? I mean, that beer isn’t going to drink itself.
