Why in the world would anyone opt to spend 250 euro for that when there are cheaper (and better) options existing for a long time from hennessy hammocks, or clark jungle hammocks? One could even get a “skeeter beeter” hammock from campmor for $50.

The hammock is overpriced for sure, but the one advantage it seems to have over other hammocks like the skeeter beeter is weather protection. It also has that railing beneath to keep your gear dry – but is that worth an extra $290? Hell no.
