Interface-Free Touchscreen

At this year’s TEDTalks in Monterey California, an NYU researcher named Jeff Han demonstrated an interface free touchscreen display that “can be manipulated intuitively with the fingertips, and responds to varying levels of pressure.”
Hopefully this is the sort of technology that we will be able to utilize in the near future - instead of screwing around with a dammed keyboard an mouse.
