The new model of the Knight XV SUV, built by Conquest Vehicles, incorporates 60 upgrades to help keep you safe and comfortable should you ever decide to drive through a mine field for sport. Among them are a built-in oxygen survival kit, under-vehicle magnetic attachment detection system, under-vehicle blast protection to protect against bombs and IEDs, an onboard black-box system and multiple layers of armor.
This is in addition to more luxurious features, like a leather steering wheel, ultra-suede seating, an electrostatic window tinting system a commercial-grade multi-link air-ride suspension system, a high-performance front brake system with 15.5-inch rotors and 12-pot calipers, and a 24-inch vehicle extension package. Right-hand drive conversion is also available, as is a carbon-fiber instrument panel. The car also runs on biofuel and has a 400 hp V-10.
So needless to say, this thing weighs a lot (12,000 lbs to be exact) and probably gets about .00001 miles per gallon. It should also be apparent that the Knight XV also costs a fortune (prices start at $489,000).
