Ok, so maybe developing a display that is 1 inch larger than the previous record holder is not the ultimate coup. But anyone that sells a display that measures almost 8 feet by 4 1/2 feet and weighs 473 pounds certainly has their priorities in the right place. While no pricing has been announced, you can bet you will have a choice between this TV and a nice car. Exactly how nice remains to be seen. They only plan to sell 5,00 per year, and estimate that only about 20% of those would be used for TV viewing. Others would most likely be used for demonstrations and presentations.
My only question is, at 473 pounds, isn’t there a certain at which you need to be looking at a high end projector?
