Microsoft Gives Vista Away Free To Beta Testers

Windows Vista Microsoft has issued a huge “thank you” to Vista beta testers by offering a copy of Windows Vista Business or Ultimate free of charge via download.

Unfortunately, only testers that submitted at least one bug report are eligible for the free software.

Those who qualify should have already been contacted with instructions indicating that their downloads will be available via Microsoft Connect and that their unique product key will be arriving via email sometime in the next week.

This is definitely a good move on Microsoft’s part. Testers who took the time to offer feedback deserve something for their trouble – plus it offers a lot of incentive for testers on future products.
