Mosquito Proof Fashion

Clothing manufacturers are beginning to roll out fashions that are treated with permethrin - an incesticide that wards off mosquitos with “few” ill effects.
(What do they mean ill effects?)
Apparently, Tommy Hilfiger, and L.L Bean have also experimented with permethrin treated clothing. Unfortunately, the functionality of the garments is limited to about 25 washings - which the manufacturer claims is the average useful life of your clothes.
So, if you like your clothing dangerous and overpriced, check out the Orvis “Buzz Off” line of clothing here.
