No Booth Babes at E3 Expo

And now for some important news. The E3 Expo will not have the “booth babes” as in years past because the organizers are going to enforce what they say has always been a rule about appropriate dress by exhibitors. Most likely brought about by the Grand Theft Auto “hot coffe” fiasco as well as the ongoing complaints about video games in general by intolerant people who wnat to control what everyone else is able to do, the organizers will give one warning to any offending booth before they levy a $5,000 fine, payable on site.
While I can see that they are trying to deflect some of the bad publicity they often receive, I am not sure how having a couple scantily clad young women can really hurt anything. It is certainly okay by me. Actually, it is more than okay. Video games are all about fantasy and imagination, and nothing would feed into both of those more than some of the lovely young ladies they have employed in years past. I was going to include a nice picture of some of them to accompnay this article, but as an homage to the organizers at E3 I have not done that. Keeping my site clean should be enough for them to declare victory and bring the women back rather than capitulating to a vocal minority.
