Internet ExplorerIf you are a developer who needs to run both IE6 and IE7 for testing purposes, you don’t have to run out and buy another copy of XP. Microsoft has developed a solution.

You can now download a virtual machine image containing a pre-activated WIndows XP SP2, IE6 and IE7 Readiness Toolkit. Unfortunately this image will no longer function after April 1st 2007, but it seems as though Microsoft will come up with a new image before that.

Download Virtual PC 2004
Download the IE6 Testing VPC Image

It may not be as simple as the process for Firefox and Opera, but it works.
