At CES in January, Seagate announced that a new wireless USB drive would ship in a year. Fortunately for consumers, it looks like Seagate is going to be well ahead of schedule.
Seagate will launch the wireless portable drive at the Intel Developer Forum (IDF) set to take place in San Francisco this week.
The 2.5 inch device should be capable of at least a 480Mbps link – if the specs on the CES prototype are comperable to the final product.
