The last year or so has seen a renaissance in piggy banking. I mean, who could forget the Pig E Bank and the ATM Bank? As cool as they were, both of those banks pale in comparison to Takara-Tomy’s latest creation – “The Bank of Life.”
The Bank of Life features and LCD screen with a little Japanese dude living in relative squalor. As you insert more money his situation improves. If enough money is collected, the little guy will eventually move on up to a decked out luxury crib.
The Bank of Life with its Tamagotchi vibe is available in Japan for around 4,758 Yen ($40).
