It may not be the end of traditional bathing (as disappointing as that may be) but the Entryway system developed by Okamura Corp and Sanki Engineering promises to make users 90% free of pollen and dust.
The system is designed for the entrance of “office buildings, hospitals and condominium complexes” and it works by shooting air through a filtered nozzle and sucking it, along with any extraneous materials, out the side.
Chances are it will also f*ck up your hair and suck up your keys and / or wallet – but hey, what are you gonna do?
The system will be available for purchase in October for 1.89 million yen ($15,921)
