Universal Tube & Rollform Equipment Corporation, owners of the site UTube.com have decided to sue YouTube.com ( hmmm, I wonder why they decided to do it now?).

According to Ralph Girkins, Universal Tube’s president, “we’ve had to move our site five times in an effort to stay ahead of the youtube.com visitors.” They claim that sales have been lost due to traffic induced downtime. Apparently, they received 68 million hits in the month of August alone.

Universal Tube is seeking either a cease and desist on the YouTube domain, or the funds necessary to create a new domain. They are currently seeking a buyer for the Utube address.
