Xythos RevolverThe Xythos Revolver has been billed as the smallest firing revolver in the world – even though its ammunition consists of blanks and flares.

From the SmallFlare website:

Together with our flare kit, Xythos Revolver – the world’s smallest firing revolver – is a great resource for hikers, skiers, backpackers and all outdoor enthusiasts. Lightweight, small and easy to transport, the Original Xythos Revolver comes with a keychain and a tie pin letting you wear your firepower right upfront!…To use, just thread on the barrel extension to your revolver, drop in the flare and pull the trigger! Flares will zoom up to 100 feet high in a one of several blazing colors.”

Is it just me or does the idea of anyone using this thing as a “resource” seem hysterical? Personally, I would like to see a shoulder holster developed for it.

The Xythos Revolver can be purchased here for 59.50 EUR ($75).
