According to Ubergizmo, “the New York Times, International Herald Tribune, Les Echos (parent of The Financial Tmies), and French papers Le Monde, La Parisienne, and L’Equipe are experimenting with digitizing their newspapers for download on devices like the Sony Reader and the iRex.”
So the question is, would you give up your old-fashioned newspaper and go digital? After all, many people enjoy the tactile experience of reading a newspaper. The crinkling of the pages, the ink on their fingers, etc.
Not me.
I would love to have the newspaper digitized in this form. And while their at it, let’s get school textbook downloads going. It would be so much more convienent to carry around one all-purpose reader as opposed to a briefcase or a backpack full of books and papers. Too bad I already missed out on this technology while I was in college.
