Xmas Lights Screw Up Wi-Fi Signals?

A wireless monitoring software vendor called AirMagnet, is warning people that Christmas lights degrade Wi-Fi signals by up to 25%. The survey also showed that signal deterioration increased over distance by one third.

The tests were conducted using AirMagnet’s Survey PRO and the AirMagnet Laptop Analyzer – so take the results for what they are worth. Still, I think that this would be an exceptional segment on Mythbusters.
