It appears that The Hobbit is taking over New Zealand. First, there was a giant Gollum at the Wellington Airport. Now, there’s an in-flight safety briefing on Air New Zealand that features Elves, Dwarves, hairy Hobbit feet and even a brief cameo by Peter Jackson. If only all the airlines would follow suit. I’d like a briefing from Spider-Man next time I fly to New York City.
