Swedish artist Andreas Englund created a series of paintings featuring an old superhero, explaining them as follows:
“Humor can be the carrier of messages that are otherwise hard to convey. For me, it liberates my thoughts and ideas from pretentiousness while at the same time it opens doors to new routes and angles.”
Apparently the message here is that superpowers can’t stop the aging process, or control the onset of gut fat and man boobs.
Still, older people need a superhero too. Someone to help them cross busy streets and defend them against Medicare fraud. Check out some additional images after the break.
