You hear of people giving up their cell phones for a short time, but Blair McMillan has decided to give up all tech and everything else that’s current and live like it’s 1986 for a year. He’s even got a bushy mustache, a mullet and a baseball jersey on, which makes him like seem like a Canadian version of Kenny Powers.
It all started when his young son became obsessed with cell phones and Blair and his girlfriend decided they had to do something drastic. They now look the part of a 1980’s family and live it with an old rotary phone, no internet, no GPS and so on. In other words, none of the awesome technology that we rely on these days. The NES is still fair game though, so everything should be okay.
