Check Out The View From This Godzilla-Themed Hotel In Japan

Imagine waking up to the most famous monster of all time, staring you down through your hotel window. Yup, I want to go to there.

In April, the Hotel Gracery in Shinjuku, Japan will open the doors to its 30-story building complete with Godzilla-themed rooms. And since location is everything, the hotel actually sits atop Toho Cinema (Toho, of course, made Godzilla famous).

Some of the rooms are planned to have tons of Godzilla memorabilia and even giant statues of the kaiju to keep you company.

Check out more photos after the jump.

Below are various artist renditions of the new Godzilla hotel main features.

Yeah, that’s not scary at all. “Hey Mom, I’m heading downtown to get….AHHHHHHHHHH!”

Totally romantic. No really, if you find someone who would love watching a classic Godzilla movie with you, marry them.

This summer, in your travels to Japan, make sure to set aside some dollars to rent one of the Godzilla View Rooms which start at about 15,000 yen ($125) a night. The full Godzilla room will run 39,800 yen (US$ 334) during weekdays and 49,800 yen ($417) during weekends and holidays.
