It’s a good week for cartoon fans. First we got word that The Powerpuff Girls are returning to Cartoon Network in 2016 and now there’s news that Danger Mouse will be back next year. We’ll be getting 52 new 11-minute episodes that will air on the BBC children’s station, CBBC.
The new series is being produced by animation house Cosgrove Hall and will feature Ben Ward of Horrible Histories leading the writing team with show co-creator Brian Cosgrove as a consultant. It will also be updated for the times, with Danger Mouse getting a lair full of tech gadgets and an iPatch to replace his eye patch.
