Get Your Very Own Full-Size Robocop 2 Enforcement Droid Model Prop

If you feel like your house needs to look a little more intimidating, you could purchase this Enforcement Droid (ED) 209 model used for Robocop 2. At 10′ tall, it will effectively loom and look scary. Plus – it has gun mounts. Even if they don’t move that would scare potential burglars away.

You should keep in mind a few things if you want this replica though. First of all, it would be a lousy security system because you’d be silly to keep it outside. It’s on the market for $25,000 and almost any other system would be cheaper. Finally, the moving parts haven’t been tested. It couldn’t chase people away.

Buy it for the historical value instead. From the eBay listing:

It may have been used as a stand-in for the robot during production or created as a marketing piece to promote the movie. It stands at over 10 feet tall on two hind legs built with pneumatic cylinders. The moving parts have not been tested. This robot has been in storage for quite some time. There is electrical wiring for the hydraulics to work with the leg extensions and to rotate the body portion. It was built very well and is truly a must see piece.

Though it strikes me as weird that they don’t know whether it was used in the film, you can’t deny that it’s an impressive piece.
