GoBabyGo Helps Physically Impaired Children Become Mobile Using Customized Riding Toys [Video]

gobabygo copy

Freedom and mobility go hand and that’s why a group of doctors from the Pediatric Mobility Lab and Design Studio at the University of Delaware founded GoBabyGo, a pediatric mobility program. Drs. Cole Galloway, Michele Lobo and Sam Logan created the program to help disabled children gain further mobility through the use of motorized riding toys. The inexpensive vehicles can be custom-designed for each child, and the doctors are spreading awareness about their riding tech in the hopes of helping others throughout the country. To that end, they are freely sharing instructions with anyone who wants to modify toy vehicles.

This wonderful program grants these children the ability to keep up with their peers, as well as explore the word on their own terms.
