This Gumball Batmobile Is All Carbon Fiber And Lambo Fury [Video]

“Hey, Ben!” called Sean down the hallway as Ben exited the Nerd Approved kitchen. “What do you know about the Gumball 3000 Rally?”

“Oh, gosh, um… blimey,” said Ben, nervously mimicking a mid-90s era Hugh Grant. “I know it’s a sort-of car race thing, I know the Jackass guys participated one year, I vaguely recall a very disappointing licensed PlayStation 2 game based on the event…”

“Perfect!” said Sean. “You’re just the guy I need to write a post about this Batmobile one of the Gumball teams made.”

“Am I?”

“Yeah! Team Galag, they’re in the race most years, they’ve built a Lamborghini-engine powered Batmobile with a carbon fiber body. It looks kinda like the one that appeared in Batman v Superman…”

Ben recoiled in disgust. “You promised you wouldn’t mention that movie in my presence, Sean. It went to HR mediation. You had to sign a thing.”

“Slip of the tongue, sorry. But it’s pretty cool. One of the guys who worked on it spent fifteen years at Koenigsegg in Sweden, and it’s got a 5.2 liter V10 Lambo engine. A V10, Ben!”

“I have no idea what that means, I’m not a car person. Is there a video?”

“Yes,” smiled Sean. “I’ll send you the link, you can embed it in the post.”

“Alright then,” Ben sighed. “I guess I’ll write this thing, but cars aren’t, y’know, they’re not really my area of expertise.”

“But it’s Batman.”

“Well yeah, Batman’s pretty cool, but–”

“Great! Writ it up. Get tappa-tappin’.

“And don’t forget to post that video at the end!”
