J.K. Rowling has left another little present for Harry Potter fans over on Pottermore in the form of a short story written from the perspective of Rita Skeeter for the Daily Prophet.

Skeeter is reporting from the 2014 Quiddich World Cup and, while the story is only 1500 words, there’s an update on Harry, Ron and Hermoine (who are in attendance). She notes:

“About to turn 34, there are a couple of threads of silver in the famous Auror’s black hair, but he continues to wear the distinctive round glasses that some might say are better suited to a style-deficient twelve-year-old.”

He also has a mysterious cut on his cheek that Skeeter believes might be the result of his work as an Auror.

You need to be a member of Pottermore to read the story in its entirety, but it’s a quick sign up so fly on over there and take a look.
