Twitter user Shelley Zhang has a friend that was attempting to read the Harry Potter series for the first time. No shame in that! It’s never to late to join the club. The only problem is that this friend decided to procure his copy of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix from what I can only assume is some sort of shady online black market for nefarious bookworms. That would explain the hilarious text message exchange he and Shelley had about plot points:

Assuming that Shelly’s friend read the previous books in the series, I have a hard time believing that he got all the way to the end before seriously questioning the dramatic change in tone. Yes, the books get darker—but not suicide and underage wizarding sex dark. I mean, the library exists for a reason people! However, having already read the Harry Potter series, I am now very interested in exploring these crazy fan fic mysteries.
