NASA’s Touching Tributes To Leonard Nimoy

llap from ISS

The death of Leonard Nimoy has had a profound effect on many of us, and the outpouring of tributes is a testament to how much he was loved and respected. This is especially true among those in the space community.

In a reminder that Star Trek inspired a generation to dream about space travel, we wanted to share tweets from both NASA and NASA astronaut Terry Virts from aboard the ISS, along with a video from NASA astronaut Colonel Mike Fincke and ESA European Space Agency astronaut Luca Parmitano.

You can see them after the break.

Live long and prosper.
