Dammit, what’s it gonna take before the idiots at Fox realize that they need to bring back Firefly? I mean, isn’t the Fox strategy these days to cancel shows then bring them back when buzz reaches a fever pitch?

That having been said, Nathan Fillion recently stated to Entertainment Weekly that he would step back into the role of Mal again, and writers Jose Molina and Jane Espenson tweeted in to show their support as well.

Even NBC wants it back:

Seriously, it’s time to do the right thing and get Firefly back on the air. Until that glorious moment occurs, we will have to be content with reruns on the Science Channel which start on March 6th at 10pm (not to mention all of the outrageously popular Firefly merchandise that still sells like crazy—right Fox? Helllooooo!).

I hope Fox doesn’t bring it back; I hope a real network does. Fox lies. Hell, I’d love to see Firefly on BBC America, or even Cartoon Network (Adult Swim time!).

Yeah, I would bet other networks would jump at the chance to bring Firefly back (though it’s an expensive show to produce). I doubt Fox would sell though – they know there is money to be made there.

Fox might consider doing what they did with Futurama. The show is still produced by Fox, but exclusive airing rights are given to Comedy Central.

Yeah, that’s the dream – give it to a network that actually understands.
Again, it’s an expensive show to make, but I’ll bet networks like Syfy would
          kill for it.

How about NOT FOX and a real network like also NOT SyFy

I think that the ratings would have been through the roof with proper advertisement of the show  / active promotion, a good time slot, and showing the episodes in order.
