Plant These Comic Books And They Will Grow Herbs and Flowers

Step aside Captain Planet, Hippies have new comic book superheroes to worship in the form of April Showers and The Gardener.

While I doubt that they will be teaming up with the X-Men any time soon (unless Professor X needs some landscaping done), they do have one advantage that other comic books don’t—seed-infused paper that can be planted to grow herbs and flowers.

Granted, the comics are more of a novelty item than anything else with only two pages and a cover. They also cost $10 a pop which doesn’t provide much entertainment value, but it will end up tasting great in a homemade sauce.
