Police Sketches Of Famous Literary Characters

Have you seen Game of Thrones? I haven’t, but I’m told it’s about an ambitious boy king who doesn’t take any crap and is nice to his sister. D’aww!

Artist Brian J. Davis is apparently a fan of both the wacky HBO series and the book series on which the show is based, and he used “commercially available law enforcement composite sketch software” to create police sketch-style renderings of how the characters are described in the books. Neat idea!

Davis didn’t stop there, though. He’s also been creating police sketches of other literary characters. We love ’em, and we’re sure you will too. No matter how unsettling they may be!

Check out a select few below.

Tyrion Lanister

Brienne of Tarth

Walder Frey

And now, from other literary works…

Mr. Wednesday, Neil Gaiman’s American Gods

James Bond, of the novels by Sir Ian Fleming

The vampire Lestat, from Anne Rice’s… uh… The Vampire Lestat

Hannibal Lecter from the novels of Thomas Harris

Check out even more of Davis’ work on his Composites Tumblr.
