Screen Used Facehugger, Lightsaber, Indiana Jones’ Gun And Much More Up For Auction

Treat yourself for the holidays and bid on a piece of Hollywood history during this weekend’s Drama, Action, Romance: The Hollywood Auction. Profiles in History is offering an insane number of collectibles on December 15 and 16, and you can place bids even if you aren’t in Los Angeles to attend in person. The 366 page catalog has plenty for geeks to drool over (it also has instructions on how to participate online).

I scanned through and here’s a sampling of the gems I spotted: Spider-Man 2 storyboards; a Gom Jabbar from the Dune Miniseries; tons of James Bond posters, stills, and props; costumes and scripts from darn near every iteration of Star Trek including ear tips that Leonard Nimoy wore on screen in Star Trek The Motion Picture; a screen used Facehugger; production miniatures from Star Wars including an X-wing, the Millennium Falcon, and an AT-AT; a stunt replica of Luke’s lightsaber; and tons items from Indiana Jones, Ghostbusters, Terminator.

If I had thousands of dollars, I’d be going after all the things. It does seem like there are plenty of items in the $800-$2,000 range. Happy bidding!

Check out some of the available items after the break.
