The Axe Cop Animated Series Gets a Release Date

Fox has set the schedule for their new animation block and that includes Axe Cop. It will air on Saturday nights, and it debuts on July 27.

The animated series is based on the comic of the same name. The story of the comic was concocted by a five-year-old (now eight-year-old) and his older brother wrote everything down. It’s hilarious, and it’s been a runaway success. Yeah, Axe Cop is practically made for television.

Fox also released the names of the full cast for the series. As you already know from the clip released back in October, Nick Offerman will play the main character. According to IGN, we’ll also hear voices of the following actors:

“…Megan Mullally, Patton Oswalt, Ken Marino, Peter Serafinowicz and weekly guest stars such as Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad, Revolution); rapper Tyler, The Creator; Jonathan Banks (Breaking Bad); Rob Huebel (Despicable Me); and Community creator Dan Harmon.”

Will you be tuning in to watch?
