In case you haven’t heard, Quirk classics is unleashing a prequel to Seth Grahame-Smith’s popular Pride and Prejudice and Zombies—only this time the book will be written entirely by Steve Hockensmith in the style of Jane Austen. As I mentioned in my review of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, that’s probably a good thing because Jane Austen’s dull prose was the only thing getting in the way of all the zombie fun.
Whether or not Hockensmith can successfully carry the torch remains to be seen, but the book trailer has me intrigued. You will be able to check it out for yourself when the book drops on March 23rd.
