You haven’t forgotten about Blood & Chrome right? Of course you haven’t, geeks have memories like elephants. The prequel to Battlestar Galactica was first announced in 2010, and principal photography for the pilot started in early 2011. However, in summer of 2011 Syfy announced they weren’t sure about the format. Eventually in March 2012, they talked about releasing it as a web series. Then there was talk that the project was flat out cancelled. There hasn’t been much news since then.
But don’t give up! The official Syfy Twitter account recently hosted a Q&A and someone asked what the chances are that we’ll ever see Blood and Chrome. Craig Engler (tweeting for Syfy) replied thusly:

He didn’t specify whether we’d just be getting the pilot or a full series, but at least it’s something! So say we all.
